Homura Hyoudou was just your typical average schoolgirl with a love for reading, writing, and kendo. This is despite the fact that she had a perverted twin brother and that she took her Kendo Club to a championship. There is also the problem with her dreams: Dreams she has of a mysterious otherworld, dreams that are somehow connected to a book she carries around with her at all times: Brave Dragon.
One day, however, her home of Kuoh is attacked by a monster known as a Megid. It is during this attack that Brave Dragon's power manifests, and from it, a fiery sword known as the Kenkaen Rekka. Picking up the sword, Homura finds herself becoming the Swordswoman of Fire, Kamen Rider Saber. But this is only the beginning of her adventures, as she finds herself dealing with a mysterious order known as the Sword of Logos, an organization of Swordsmen who use swords similar to hers, and the various supernatural factions that make up the world she lives in. Life has just gotten a lot more complex for the young schoolgirl.
The Three Kings Of the Sacred Swords
is a Kamen Rider Saber and High School D×D crossover series that began in November of 2021, and is currently ongoing. While the prologue is a commissioned one-shot (by EpicLinkSam), the rest of the chapters are done by the fic's author, Squeegeman and itspowertime223.
- Action Girl: Homura counts, by virtue of being a Kamen Rider and one of the few human allies of the Occult Research Club.
- Brother–Sister Team: Homura and Issei, natch.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: The Gremory Peerage's fight with Calibur happens offscreen, but from what info we can gather from their conditions, it was completely one-sided.
- Dark Is Evil: Kamen Rider Calibur. He's aligned with the Megid, is clad in dark and purple armor, and his sword is literally called "Darkness Sword Moon Dark".
- Everyone Has Standards: Issei is a grade A pervert, but he is still very protective of his sister. He won't even tolerate his friends perking on her.
- My Sister Is Off-Limits: Issei is very protective of Homura. When Motohama and Matsuda peep on the girls from the Kendo Club, of which Homura is a member, he blows his lid.
- Original Character: Homura Hyoudou is a brand new character and acts as a O.C. Stand-in for Touma Kamiyama, the original Swordsman of Flame from Kamen Rider Saber.
- Sibling Yin-Yang: Homura and Issei, natch. One is a celebrated Kendo champion, the other is a perverted school pariah. However, the two truly do love each other, and Issei is rather protective of his sister, as seen by his anger when Matsuda and Motohama end up peeking on the girl's kendo club, which he takes as a violation of the Bro Code as Homura is a member.
