The Malevolence of Malediktator

This fanfiction series contains examples of:
- Alternate Universe Fic: A What If? with the change that Malediktator gets the ring from Chat Noir after making him mentally into a cat.
- Bittersweet Ending: The city is saved and Hawk Moth is exposed but Adrien's father and main caretaker are arrested, Chloe and her family are leaving town, and so is Marinette (at least for a while). Marinette and Adrien will give up their superhero lives and have a chance to get to know each other as they really are.
- Cliffhanger: At the end of the first chapter, Marinette and Master Fu are alone against the whole city after Malediktator takes over. Marinette has only the Turtle Miraculous to work with after even Tikki is enslaved.
- Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Hawk Moth is horrified when Adrien is revealed as the "cat" mind-control victim.
- Hoist by His Own Petard: Hawk Moth falls victim to the control of Malediktator before he can revoke his power.
- Idiot Ball: Hawk Moth shows excessive concern for his son, and threatens Malediktator to turn him back to normal. This sets off the villain to make the entire city into his slaves.
- The Infiltration: Marinette can only get close enough to Malediktator to attack by acting like she has been enslaved like the rest of the city.
- Mass Hypnosis: This is what Malediktator achieves in Paris and it is potentially deadly as everyone just stands around waiting for orders.
- Power-Up: Marinette gets to try a power-up with Wayzz, as the flying heroine Spotted Turtle.
- The Unmasking: Adrien's identity as Chat Noir is revealed to Hawk Moth after his ring is removed. Ladybug, Chat Noir, and Hawk Moth are all revealed to the world in the end.
