Spider-Man: Web of Magic is a Crossover Fan Fic that merges both the Marvel Universe and the world of My Little Pony: Equestria Girls into the same universe and centers on Spider-Man by Metal Jrock.

After being bitten by a radioactive spider and learning with great power comes great responsibility, Peter Parker became the crimefighter of Canterlot City, Spider-Man. However various themed crooks appear out of the blue, putting Spider-Man to the test.

Luckily his friends Trixie Lulamoon and Need Leeds are giving him the support and help he needs, knowing his identity. And his new protege, the Solar Eclipse, is out there helping him.

Can Spider-Man defeat these new threats and handle his busy lifestyle?

The story contains the following tropes:

  • Adaptational Badass: Sunset Shimmer is able to use her natural unicorn magic here.
  • Adaptation Distillation: This story combines elements of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the comics, and The Spectacular Spider-Man and places them in the setting of Canterlot.

  • Dude, Where's My Respect?: Peter starts noticing Jameson's rants against his alter ego.
    • Toomes wants revenge on Norman Osborn for stealing the research he spent his entire life working towards.
    • This is also why Doctor Octavius lashes out at Norman, feeling abused by his superior.
  • Endearingly Dorky: Peter and Twilight, naturally.
  • Fire-Forged Friends: Spider-Man and Wolverine at the very least don't want to fight each other by the end of their brief meeting.
