S Plus D Equals K is a Kim Possible fanfic set post-series. Kim is in college, taking a basic biology class where blood typing is necessary. Seems rather normal, right? It is... Until Kim realizes that she doesn't match with her parents.
Cue drama.
Has a sequel, Fallout, that deals with the consequences of the previous fic.
Even with its unusual concept, it manages to stay canon compliant.
S Plus D Equals K provides examples of:
- Action Mom: Shego takes on over a dozen henches, leaving them in her dust until one holds her daughter hostage
- Added Alliterative Appeal: "Aviarius is assaulting the aerodynamics auditorium on Albany Avenue!" the mayor announced, absolutely astonished.
- Cartesian Karma: Drew is faced with some consequences for his actions while he was Brainwashed and Crazy by Gemini
- Chekhov's Gunman: The talking hench when Shego's capture? Agent Alpha, who is the one to save both Drew and Kimberly later in the fic
- Continuity Nod: Kim references that time when Ron pretended to be super smart when it was actually Rufus
- The Avalauncher, Bebes, the robots from Car Trouble, and the Lil' Diablos make an appearance as well.
- Ron brings up the only time GJ helped at all in relation to Drakken's plotting
- Hego still bothers Shego with rejoining Team Go
- Darker and Edgier: Displays more swearing, implications of sex, and a touch of Family-Unfriendly Violence
- Despair Event Horizon: Drew hits it when he realizes that the torture could continue for months as Gemini and Drew are contained in a time bubble
- Easy Amnesia: Shego and Drakken both suffer severe cases of amnesia. Strangely, neither of them thing much of it as Shego believes she was attacked by a villain (which isn't untrue) and Drakken is led to believe he was beaten into a long coma by upperclassmen
- Fate Worse than Death: Poor Drew... Watching his significant other lose her memories while he watches helplessly, then becoming a test subject for Gemini. Leaves him blue and scarred, physically and mentally
- Flat "What": Hego gives one as the first line of the sequel after he learns about what happened in the first story.
- Happily Adopted: Kim discovers she was a Doorstop Baby and decides no matter what, her parents are her parents whether they're genetically related or not
- Happily Married: Drew and Shego, before Gemini gets involved. Even then, they find each other again and decide to recommit their relationship.
- Healing Factor: Drew/Agent Alpha has a rather strong one once he's mutated more by Gemini. He heals a decent-sized missing chunk of his leg in less than a minute.
- I Just Want to Be Normal: Drakken hints at this near the end as he blames Gemini for taking it all away from him
- Shego discusses it in relation to Hego's insistence on being heroes after they were hit by the comet
- I Lied: Drakken says that he'll stop his villainy, but goes right back to it later in the sequel.
- I Want Grandkids: Mama Lipsky to the point that she sabotages Drew's birth control methods
- If You Kill Him, You Will Be Just Like Him!: Kim pleads this when Drakken and Shego are about to take their revenge on Gemini for destroying their pre-villain lives
- Jaw Drop: Drew does it a few times. Shego picks it back up once.
- Gemini also gets one in when Ron tosses Agent Alpha halfway across the room with his Mystical Monkey Power
- Loss of Identity: Shego's personality can be seen changing as her memories are drained from her
- Luke, You Are My Father: Kim lets Drakken and Shego know that they're her parents. Drakken doesn't take it so well
- My Girl Is Not a Slut: Drakken complains that Shego has class and wouldn't do that with him on a second date.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Drew's treatments and therapy left him defenseless once Gemini showed up, paralyzing him with fear and without his superstrong vines to help him
- Over-the-Shoulder Carry: Shego carries Drakken around like this when Kim, Shego, and Drakken infiltrate the GJ evidence warehouse
- Parental Sexuality Squick: Kim when it's implied that Drakken and Shego, her parents, have sex. Anne even teases her about it.
- Precision F-Strike: The Wegos give Ron one when he won't stop boggling at their age vs their height.
- Running Gag: Flowers and petals still burst out of Drakken's coat
- No one can remember that Shego wants to be a child psychologist instead of a villain
- Secret Government Warehouse: GJ has one where they keep all of the confiscated villain tech
- Secret Legacy: Kim's actually Drakken and Shego's daughter, which makes her descended from Team Go
- Sequel Escalation: You thought that the first story was dramatic? The second one is even worse
- Sequel Hook: Gemini escapes from his GJ cell and makes it to the evidence locker, vowing to get his revenge on Drakken, Shego, and Kim no matter what.
- Shoo Out the Clowns: Ron sees himself out of a scene where Drakken is being convinced to seek help for his mental illness
- Shout-Out:
- Baking is science for hungry people.
- A Nurse Focker shows up in one scene.
- Swiper, No Swiping!: Kim has a pretty easy time talking Shego and Drakken down near the end of the first fic...
- Tailor-Made Prison: Drew/Agent Alpha is placed in a cell made from Lorwardian metals with no space for his vines to wrap around
- Totally 18: Shego pulls this on Drew, telling him she's 18 when she is, in reality, 15
- Tragic Monster: Drew, in the sequel after Gemini gets his hands back on him.
- Trauma-Induced Amnesia: Implied to be some of Drew's problem with remembering what happened during his memory blank
- Trespassing to Talk: Subverted. It seems like that's what happened, but in actuality Gemini had been there for over a day tormenting and mutating Drew
- Would Hurt a Child: Gemini orders baby Kim to be 'disposed of'.
- Yank the Dog's Chain: Drew was on the path to recovery... And then Gemini showed up and transformed him into his new Agent Alpha
- Year Inside, Hour Outside: Used dramatically due to Gemini using a temporal distorter to stretch out the time he had to break Drew down and rebuild him as Agent Alpha
