Pokémon Abandon Lonliness
(Playlist with the game included) (yes, that's how it is spelt) is a 2010 Pokémon creepypasta that is based on Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, which spanned three chapters.
The narrator finds a strange LeafGreen game cartridge from his friend. However, as he soon puts the game, a number of bizarre things begin to occur. As soon as the logo disappears, it later jumps right through the menu screen. The narrator notices the player's name, LEAF, and with the play time being only three minutes.
Unnerved by the strange change, the narrator then opens the save file out of curiosity, before it quickly starts at Pallet Town, or so it seems. The narrator then sees the only Pokémon in its party: an unusual Eevee named "LONLINESS", who is only level 10, has a Lonely nature and had a rather unusually sad-looking sprite.
However, things only go From Bad to Worse, when the narrator soon uncovers exactly what truly goes on behind this game cartridge, leading him to uncover why LONLINESS become as is. Eventually, however, it is revealed that LONLINESS is a byproduct of Blue's, Red's and Leaf's neglect towards it and had planned to take revenge against the trio for neglecting it in the first place.
This Creepypasta Provides Examples Of:
- Adaptational Villainy: While Blue in the canon is mostly a Jerkass rival against Red, Blue in this fic is portrayed more darkly, in terms of his later involvement of neglecting LONLINESS, as well as his turn to villainy during the RED chapter.
- An Aesop: Animal neglect is just as bad as regular animal cruelty.
- Big Bad: Blue is responsible for neglecting LONLINESS in the first place that led to its vengeful personality. He later becomes Red's vengeful, spiteful nemesis bent on gaining revenge against him for killing his Raticate in the past.
- Blood Knight: Blue. While he started out as a victim between the LEAF and SORROW chapters, as he becomes responsible for him neglecting LONLINESS, the RED chapter turns him into a vicious, vengeful teenager, aiming to now kill Red after Leaf's death in an attempt to avenge Raticate.
- Dark Fic: It focuses on the haunted Pokémon LeafGreen cartridge, where it details LONLINESS' vengeful hatred towards Red, Leaf and Green.
- Death of a Child: Leaf is this, when she didn't even reach her teenage years.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: Literally every white-skinned man throughout the fic has black eyes that is bleeding with blood.
