My Hero Academia: A World of Marvels is a Fusion Fic between My Hero Academia and the Marvel Universe. It can be found here.

In the wake of the attacks committed by Hero Killer: Stain, the training camp is put on hold, but something else takes its place. Professor Charles Xavier comes to U.A. and proposes a tournament of East vs. West. U.A. High of Japan vs. Marvel Academy of America.

My Hero Academia: A World of Marvels provides examples of:

  • 100% Heroism Rating: Captain America is practically the American All Might in this regard. Almost everyone is in awe of his presence and he's respected by every hero in the community. Unsurprisingly, he and All Might get along perfectly.
  • Adaptational Badass:
    • Implied with All Might. While already strong, Carol states that he "could probably blow the moon apart", which was a level of strength never displayed in canon.
    • Sentinels are more in line with their X-Men: Days of Future Past incarnations compared to their Butt-Monkey canon versions from the comics and cartoons. Any attempt the students give to fight them just results in them shrugging it off, repairing, and coming back stronger.
  • Adaptational Heroism:
    • Magneto is one of the teachers at Marvel Academy rather than a villain. Though it is stated that he was a terrorist in the past, but was given a pardon for his crimes in later years and now serves the side of good.
    • Sentinels, though originally intended to hunt and kill Quirked individuals, were later repurposed by Marvel Academy to teach the upperclassmen.
  • Adaptational Wimp: Due to powers being explained through Quirks, reality warpers like Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch are downgraded to simply being energy manipulators instead.
  • Adaptation Origin Connection: In combining the two worlds, any Marvel characters who were mutants are identified as having Quirks. In addition, any characters whose power was explained by any means outside of mutation is now re-contextualized as having a Quirk.
  • Fantastic Racism: While not overly present, it is discussed regarding relations between individuals with Quirks and those without them. Xavier tells the students that America contains 12% of the world's Quirkless population, leading to some notable divides between the two groups compared to Japan.
  • The Mentor: Besides All Might being this to Izuku, almost every student in the Marvel Academy has one assigned to them based on overall compatibility either through Quirks or personality. Kamala has Captain Marvel, Miles has Spider-Man, and Sam has Vision, just to name a few.
  • Old Flame: All Might and Captain Marvel are this. Though they've drifted apart over the years due to their hero work and All Might's injuries, they still care for each other and have clear feelings for one another.
  • Secret Identity: Spider-Man's true identity as Peter Parker is unknown to anyone save for the heroes he works alongside and Miles Morales. He's also stated to be one of the few Pro Heroes left in the world to still maintain a secret identity.
