Psychonauts intel had reason to believe that Delugionists have found a psychic capable of Maligula's hydrokinetic abilities and are planning on recreating the Deluge of Grulovia through him. Agent Milla Vodello is sent to retrieve him before this could happen. She finds the psychic — a baby boy belonging to a family of acrobats — and takes him back to the Motherlobe, raising him as her own son.
Under the name Rasha Vodello, Raz has lived his entire life under the Psychonauts' protection at the Motherlobe. Then one day, he discovers the Awful Truth. Conflicted, he decides to leave the Motherlobe to find his birth family.

- The interns are much nicer and friendlier towards Raz than they are in canon, thanks to knowing him years before the story, to the point that they consider him a younger brother.
- Norma is the most obvious case. Even though she still has a rivalry with Raz note and could be a little bossy, she cares a lot for him and Lily, even admitting that she loves them as her siblings.
- Bilingual Bonus: Ontop of being raised speaking English, Rasha refers to Milla as "Mamãe" (Portuguese for "Mom") and Sasha "Vati" (German for "Dad").
- Childhood Friends: Having been raised by Psychonauts, Rasha becomes this with Lili. He ends up developing a crush on her, but he doesn't act on it because he doesn't want to ruin what they have.
- For Want Of A Nail:
- While canon!Raz was raised by his birth-family, The Flying Aquatos, here he was taken by Milla and raised with her and Sasha as his adopted parents.
- Milla and Sasha had married in this version, having done so shortly after Milla adopted Raz.
- Happily Adopted: Even when he finds out that he was more-or-less kidnapped from his birth family, Raz can't help but care about Milla and Sasha, having raised him in a fairly happy childhood in spite of the circumstances.
- In Spite of a Nail:
- Despite having been raised under the name "Rasha" instead of "Razputin", everyone still calls him "Raz" for short.
- Raz and Lili are still friends in this version and Raz develops a crush on her.
- The Kindnapper: The premise of the fic centers around the Psychonauts sending Milla Vodello to kidnap an infant Raz from his family to keep him safe from Delugionists that wish to use his inherent hydrokinetic powers to create a new Maligula. Milla, with some help from Sasha, gave Raz a happy childhood in spite of the circumstances. She eventually finds out that she had actually stolen him from his family instead of Delugionists and is understandably devastated by this.
- My God, What Have I Done?: Milla was told that, when she found Raz, she was saving him from Delugionists. When she discovers that she instead basically kidnapped him from his loving and non Delugionist family, she's devastated.
- Official Couple: While in canon, they are only implied have feelings with each other, Milla and Sasha are a married couple in this story.
- Unwitting Instigator of Doom: In daring Rasha to procure a file, Norma had unwittingly set Raz down a path of self-discovery and learning that he was technically kidnapped from his real family.
