helping the world via murder, a guide by your local reformed terrorist is a crossover fic between Jujutsu Kaisen and Naruto on AO3 created by author RK7200. It focuses on Gojo and Obito and the way the latter navigates a new world he's unfamiliar with.

Tropes that appear in this include:

  • Alternate Universe Fic: Jujutsu Kaisen's original universe consists of everyone that doesn't include Obito.
  • The Defroster: In good Jujutsu Kaisen fashion this is Played for Drama every single sorcerer that Obito initially meets is wary of him, understandably so considering he is a curse. But as they interact with him they begin to realize that A, he doesn't behave at all like a curse meaning the human side of him resists, and B, the more they interact the more they learn of his tragic circumstances and even the likes of Gojo and Nanami cannot stay unsympathetic for long.
  • Fire-Forged Friends: Despite Gojo's suspicions of Obito, they eventually become more friendly with the other, through Itadori Yuuji.
  • Heel–Face Turn: In Naruto canon, Obito was manipulated to do an antagonist's bidding, and through a display of Talking the Monster to Death, Obito turns good and sacrifices himself. This change is evident in the dimension travel that caused Obito to land in the world of JJK, through the way he doesn't immediately destroy innocents.
  • The Idealist: Due to Naruto's famous 'Talk-no-Jutsu', the way Obito sees the world is much different. (He does have his moments that are on the contrary, though...)
  • The Protagonist: Gojo and Obito (and their slow burn romance) are the focus of the story.
  • The Resenter: Gojo towards Kakashi, at first it's Played for Laughs since it's born of Satoru not wanting to be compared to anyone and Obito is comparing him to Kakashi due to their similar appearance. But in later chapters it begins to become more serious because Gojo realizes that the similarities run deeper than mere appearances, Kakashi's story (or what he knows of it) reflects his own failures and he has no intention of repeating history.
