Crackronpa is a series of fanfics created by AO3 user insertcoolnicknamehere_420.
It’s basically Danganronpa fanfics that are part crack and part serious.

This work contains examples of the following tropes:
- Author Avatar: The "author" will often pop up in brackets, with a classic A/N tag before he speaks.
- Crack Fic: The series combines serious moments with humorous jokes.
- Interactive Narrator: The narrator speaks to the characters in italics, and will introduce new elements to the story.
- Meaningful Name: The university that the students in the first fic are trapped in is called Shinob University. In Japanese, shinobu can mean "recall". In the prologue, Hajime has distressing visions of the past.
- Straw Feminist: Tenko is this, with her talent literally being the ultimate Femnazi.
