Coventina's Crown
is an unfinished Sonic the Comic fanfic starring Morain.
Morain lives in the Nameless Zone with her older brother Errol. When Errol is kidnapped because he knows of the ancient relic called the "Coventina's Crown", it's up to Morain to travel to Mobius and retrieve the only family she has left.
The fanfic remain unfinished. It stopped updating after four chapters and hasn't had an update since 2002.
Coventina's Crown provides examples of:
- Child Soldiers: By seventeen, Morain is one of the greatest warriors that the Nameless Zone has.
- Dead Fic: The story hasn't updated since 2002 and the writer hasn't posted any new stories since 2006.
- Distressed Dude: The plot starts when Morain's brother Errol is kidnapped.
- Named by the Adaptation: Morain's family is given the surname of "Blackthorn".
- Only Known by Their Nickname: Tekno and Amy, two of Tails' closest friends, don't recognize that his name when Morain asks about "Miles Prower".
- Parental Abandonment: Morain's parents both died before she was three.
- Sudden Eye Colour: Morain is given amber eyes to match the later art-style of the series.
