. A My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic/Equestria Girls Fanfic written by MythrilMoth as a parody to ridiculous over the top crossover fanfics. The author died in May 2019, leaving it incomplete.
Comes a Crossover provides examples of:
- Accidental Pervert: Sunset saves Flash from getting his head smashed by teleporting him away from a Carnage-possed demon, but he lands on top of Octavia and accidentally feels and squeezes her breast. When she pushes him off her he accidentally sees up her skirt, due to her being dressed like Tifa, and gets a bloody nose from the sight.
- Adaptational Wimp: Zig-Zagged. The Green Goblin that appears in this story is the original one from the Marvel comics. While he is by no means a pushover, he doesn't come close to being as powerful as other versions of the Goblin, like the Ultimate Goblin from the home universe of Miles Morales.
- Affectionate Nickname: Acting as a
Fandom Nod, Rainbow Dash refers to the human Twilight Sparkle as "Sci-Twi" and the name caught on around the school. She doesn't mind because she never had a nickname before and actually enjoys it. - Awesome, but Impractical: Brook describes the Devil Fruit he ate as being this. It only grants him one power like any Devil Fruit but it only worked after he died the first time. But he still manages to make the most of it.
- Back-to-Back Badasses: Vinyl and Octavia do this with each other when they fight a skeleton army together.
- The Beastmaster: After escaping the royal guards in Equestria, Green Goblin travels into the Everfree Forest and somehow was able to tame a Turducken in one night.
- Big "WHAT?!":
- Dean Cadance lets out a loud "WHAT?!" when she hears that Principal Cinch blackmailed Twilight to participate in the Friendship Games.
- Sunset and Flash both do this when Octavia tells Flash to come upstairs with her so they can have sex. She claims her favorite way to calm down when stressed out is to have cosplay sex, hence her costumes.
- Beyond the Impossible: The dimensional interference is preventing anyone from getting back to their home dimensions, but Deadpool claims he can go home whenever he wants to. Because he's Deadpool.
- Breaking the Fourth Wall: Deadpool, of course. He narrates the opening scene of the first Interlude expressing how awesome this crossover is, how they haven't even introduced half the characters yet, and how he's not even suppose to be there and decides to go home.
- Can't Kill You, Still Need You: Trunks confronts Raditz and claims that he cannot kill him here because Raditz must die at a specific time and place to begin a chain of events that leads to the return of the Super Saiyans and the death of Freeza.
- Crossover Cameo:
- The Daleks and Cybermen literally appear out of nowhere while the group of heroes are getting to know each other, just long enough to shout their respected catchphrases and fire at each other before disappearing.
- The first Interlude chapter opens with Deadpool narrating his thoughts on the events happening so far and the franchises that have appeared before deciding to go home to his own dimension.
- Dem Bones: Brook is a living skeleton due to the Devil Fruit he ate allowing his soul to return to his body after his death, but it took his soul one year to find his body and by that time it was nothing but a skeleton. He takes the whole thing in stride and
doesn't feel bad about it at all.
- Enemy Mine: Tiger Mask and Incineroar, who were just beating on each other in a wrestling match, quickly decide to work together to defeat Goro.
- Future Badass: Some characters come from the future, like Trunks, Terry, Sarada, and Deku.
- Harmless Electrocution: Trunks grabs the gates to Crystal Prep when they're booby trapped with electricity, but completely ignores it and tears the gate off. Justified by his general durability.
- Healing Factor: Discussed briefly by the heroes in the fourth chapter. Trunks, being half-Saiyan, can heal from wounds faster than average. Miles even says he knows a few guys from his own universe that posses this power.
- It Amused Me: Vinyl reveals she doesn't talk much just to razz Octavia.
- Kid Hero: Miles Morales is only 13 years old. Sunset actually says he looks more like a "Kid Arachnid" than a "Spider-Man".
- Killed Off for Real:
- Brook beheads Cold-Mask Fluenz after he and X defeat him.
- Ex-Aid is quickly killed by Inves shortly after making his Dynamic Entry.
- Carnage is apparently killed at the end of chapter 21. His host dying against the heroes and his symbiotic being destroyed shortly afterwards.
- Mega Crossover: Acting as a parody to crossovers, this fanfic has the Equestria Girls and Friendship Is Magic cast crossover with various franchises of all kind. From anime, comic books, video games, and cartoons, all of them meet together for one giant adventure.
- Mr. Exposition: Whenever a character from a new franchise appears they will often take some time to explain stuff about themselves and the world they come from, like how they got their powers or what their goal is.
- No-Sell: X and Brook are completely unaffected by Cold-Mask Fluent's powers to infect them with diseases because X is a robot that can't get sick and Brook is already dead.
- Off with His Head!: Brook kills a pirate named Cold-Mask Fluent this way after he and X defeat him. He justifies this saying it would have happened to him on the Grand Line eventually.
- Playing with Fire: Incineroar, being a part fire-type Pokemon.
- Power Copying: X has the power to copy things that he absorbs with his Variable Weapon System as long as it is advanced enough. He can even gain abilities from mundane objects like a parachute.
- Pungeon Master: Chat Noir makes several Cat related jokes once he appears.
- So does Brook. Sort of.Brook: You know, it really breaks my heart when people keep reacting to me like that. Even though I don't have a heart.X: Just...just stop. Please.
- So does Brook. Sort of.
- Ship Teasing: Sunset and X are shown to get along very well, and most of the girls from the Equestria Girls world and other universes all find Trunks to be attractive.
- Adagio is attracted to Arlong to the point that after she has revenge on Sunset and her friends she wants to go back to Arlong's world with him and be his pirate queen.
- Shout-Out: Octavia dresses like Tifa Lockhart before joining a fight, claiming it is easier to fight in it than her normal clothes. She also has several other costumes, including a Sora costume for Flash.
- Sonic Stunner: The heroes combine an airhorn and a microphone to weaken Carnage enough to make him vulnerable to kill.
- Stockholm Syndrome: Downplayed. Flash's car is commandeered by Lilith, Etna, and Flonne, and then he is held hostage by them. Later on, we see that he's fine, hanging out with the three. Though he still holds a grudge against them for kidnapping him, he admits that Lilith is pretty good on the bass.
- Take That!: During Deadpool's cameo, he mentions quickly how Cupcakes (Sergeant Sprinkles) is too messed up even for him.
- Teleport Interdiction: Kouta Kazuraba tries to get back to his home dimension by using a transporter and his motorcycle, but he just ends up right back where he left because the dimensional interference prevents anyone from leaving the Equestria Girls world, except for the portal to Equestria.
- Took a Level in Badass:
- With reality being torn down Sunset has regained the ability to use her magic in her human form. This makes her much more useful for facing any threats from other universes.
- Darth Vader is much stronger now because he has been healed of all of his wounds he has previously suffered, making him a Dark Lord on Life Support no longer.
- The Shadowbolts are all given Power Ranger morphers by Tommy Oliver and can now morph into ranger modes to help fight the bad guys.
- Rainbow Dash gains a Green Lantern power ring and Cadance gains a Star Sapphire one.
- Deku appears as an adult, now a full-fledged pro hero. He has more control over his quirk One For All and his costume has gone through several more revisions.
- The Voiceless: Averted. Vinyl can talk normally, she just chooses not to so she can mess with Octavia.
- Weak Sauce Weakness: Trunks gets taken out by Principal Kuno by shooting him with a Super Soaker that's filled with pineapple juice. Turns out Trunks is allergic to pineapples and didn't even know it, so he doesn't have an Epipen.
- Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: Ikamusume is terrified of Arlong because he is a shark and she is a squid.
- Worthy Opponent: Forte states while fighting Trunks, that Trunks is worthy to die by his hands.
- You Don't Look Like You: When the G1 Rodimus Prime meets the Animated Wreck-Gar, he notes how he looks and acts nothing like the Wreck-Gar he knows.
