  • In the NES version of Double Dragon I:
    • Abobo has unused sprites for his "Atomic Suplex" move from the arcade version, which was cut from this version for difficulty reasons, but is referenced in his manual description that says he "likes to throw bombs".
    • Chin, the second boss, has a climbing sprite, but he never uses the ladders, possibly due to a coding error, allowing the player to defeat him by scrolling him off the screen.
    • The entire credits sequence was left unimplemented, with the game cutting back to the title screen after the ending scene.
  • Streets of Rage:
    • Both the NTSC and PAL versions of Streets of Rage III had a cut-out motorcycle level only accessible through an exploit that looks completely wrong with the sprites and where getting hit is impossible. The American and European versions of the game are also missing Ash, a tall Macho Camp boss/secret playable character, who in the original Streets of Rage required a Game Genie and the right code to get.
    • Streets of Rage Remake, a fan game based on the series, restores these elements. Ash is an alternate boss of one stage.
    • SoR3 also has some removed areas such as a basement, two extra trap rooms, and a visible exit to the rooftop where you fight Jet.
  • Super Double Dragon, being an Obvious Beta, has quite a bit of dummy content, as shown here.
  • The Punisher Arcade Game contains an entire half-finished level which takes place inside a passenger plane. It is possible to access and play it via an emulator.
