- The "Upside Down" is shown.
- Dungeons and Dragons is played or referenced (including when someone refers to "the party").
- Someone rides a bike.
- Someone gets bullied.
- The Demogorgon appears.
- Two of the main characters argue or fight.
- "Should I Stay Or Should I Go" plays.
- Someone says "pretty" or "friends don't lie."
- There is a Relationship Upgrade.
- Eleven shows up to save the day.
- Something reminds you of a Stephen King work.
Season 2 onward:
- The new monster or the portal in the lab is shown.
- Someone worries about Will.
- Someone references Barb.
- Dart grows or molts.
- Billy is treated as a Chick Magnet.
- Billy is a Jerkass.
- Pumpkins are shown.
- Bob demonstrates Hidden Depths.
- Someone hits on Max or says "Mad Max."
- The portal in the lab is shown.
- Someone explains how there is more than one world.
- Murray Bauman delivers a snarky comment. (You may want to limit this to one comment per scene.)
Season 3 onward:
- The crack in the wall is shown.
- Someone says the word "Russian."
- Nancy is mocked or referred to as "Nancy Drew."
- Magnets are shown.
- One of the couples on the show has relationship problems.
- Will touches the back of his neck.
- Robin figures something out.
- Steve acts like Vitriolic Best Buds with Dustin or Robin.
- Steve loses a fight or gets rejected by a girl.
- Dustin is teased about his girlfriend. Take two when she actually appears.
- Someone uses lights to communicate.
- The subtitles use the words "wet" and "squelch" to describe a sound.
- Erica delivers a snarky comment. (You may want to limit this to one comment per scene.)
Season 4 onward:
- Someone sees or hears the grandfather clock.
- Eleven tries to use her powers. Take another when she finally gets them back.
- Max listens to Kate Bush.
- Argyle and/or Jonathan are obviously high.
- Something painful happens to Hopper.
- Whenever you see a spider.
- Eddie gets called a freak.
- Steve and Nancy have a romantic moment.
- Jason gives a speech.
- A flashback to Billy's death is shown.
- Robin whines or complains.
