Take a drink if...

General/Arachnid:

  • The Baki-like narrator compares the actions of a character to the behavior of a bug they represent.
    • Take another drink if it's a completely bogus funfact.
  • A scene involves rape (you'd die from this even if drinking in tiny sips, though).
    • Take another drink if it's a girl being introduced while already under threat of rape.
    • Take another drink if it's Rape as Backstory.
    • Take another drink if it's about a girl being threatened by sexual predators while she's sleeping.
    • Finish your drink if somebody actually gets raped on panel.
  • A page features a very particular 3-4 panels layout with a Reaction Shot on the lower right panel (you will die).
    • Take another drink if Alice is the one making dumb faces.
    • Finish your glass if a chapter ends on an Eye Take of a shocked character (Murata has been oddly fixated on this one as of Blattodea).
  • A girl wets herself out of fear or pain and it's presented as erotica.
  • A character introduces themself by boasting about their bug-like abilities and saying "That's the (animal) way!"
  • A character has a Dark and Troubled Past.
    • Take another drink if an antagonist actually was just rotten since childhood, with no attempts to make them look sympathetic to readers.
  • Somebody attempts to justify the Organization's actions but only manages to make them look more cartoonishly evil.
  • A character appears out of thin air behind somebody.
    • Take another drink if said character is facing the other way for dramatic effect.
  • Alice says her "I have no choice but to kill" Catchphrase or somebody else says a variant of it.
  • Alice wins a fight with string trickery that was there the whole time.
  • Somebody claims Alice is the ultimate killing machine.
  • Alice actually kills somebody or acts as venomous as she's thought to be.
  • Alice gets punched or kicked on the stomach.
  • Megumi claims she enjoys being hated.
  • Megumi suffers The Worf Effect from somebody.
  • Somebody mocks Kabutomushi for being Older Than She Looks.
  • Setsuna Dinoponera exclaims "No way!" in Thai.
  • Setsuna says she's looking for friends.
  • Setsuna pins somebody to the floor and starts pummeling their face.
  • A scene with Setsuna mirrors something that happened to Alice, or vice-versa.

Caterpillar:

  • Imomushi hits somebody with a headbutt after dodging with a catapult-like motion.
  • Riokku attempts to punch somebody, fails, and suffers The Worf Effect.

Choubu no Shinobi:

  • Ear cleaning is presented as erotica.
  • A ninja easily kills an enemy only to be effortlessly killed off on the next chapter.
  • A female character is killed with exposed breasts.

Blattodea:

  • Chiyuri starts boasting about being homeless.
  • Setsuna suffers The Worf Effect from somebody.
    • Take another drink if she is knocked out while nude, as if evoking the Drop Dead Gorgeous trope.
  • Setsuna is comically beaten by Chiyuri for being too clingly.
  • Setsuna tries acting nice and is punished for it.
  • Tokisada, the illustrator, portrays an Imagine Spot or a flashback as an unfinished sketch.
    • Take another if it features Art Shift from tracing a page from Arachnid.
    • Finish your glass if it involves the Arachnid scene of Setsuna being tossed to zombies by Sasori and then it's portrayed with love and care in 4K HD resolution.
  • The illustrator makes mistakes that aren't fixed later in the volume versions (though they might get fixed on reprints), like drawing Chiyuri without antennae or Setsuna's uniform without the loop fabric where the tie would go.
    • Take another drink if a page is redrawn for the volumes and, if you have the magazine version on hand to compare, you notice it actually added a mistake to it.
