- "I swear, this was written on drugs. Really really crazy drugs. On drugs."David, while being really upset with the author.
When five ordinary middle school students gain superpowers from a weird guy with a box, things that were already a little whacked become even crazier. Hilarity Ensues.

Tropes:
- Action Girl: Raven, Adrian, Apollo, and just about every other female in the cast.
- Artifact of Doom: The Elemental Powers given to the titular characters by the Juggernaut could be considered this.
- Author Appeal: The author really likes moe characters, redheads of all kinds, otaku, and a few other things as well...
- Affectionate Parody: The series itself is a parody of both Shōnen Sentai genre and Magical Girl Warrior Shōjo genre.
- Annie May is meant to poke fun at the way Japanese perceive Americans, as well as the anime fan archetype.
- Badass Adorable: Many, many characters.
- Badass Bookworm: Adrian and Raven. Aaron isn't as badass, but he still counts. Heck, David and even Josh could get some points here, being geeks in one way or another.
- Blonde, Brunette, Redhead: Aaron, Raven and Adrian, respectively. Their Trademark Favorite Foods also make for a Stealth Pun, with Aden liking strawberries, Raven being a chocoholic, and Aaron having a thing for vanilla!
- Badass Normal: Annie May.
- Big Eater: All the main five characters count in one way or another, as part of their Required Secondary Powers needed to fuel their Elemental Powers.
- Expy:
- Aaron Bishop shares a few similarities with Honey-sempai from Ouran High School Host Club, and in fact he's sometimes called Honey.
- Raven is a lot like Yomiko Readman, even sharing the same powers! She's a little more mature though.
- Adrian, while she certainly doesn't look like himnote , acts like L from Death Note.
- Annie May was meant to look like Applejack...well, a human version of her, at least.
- Girl-Show Ghetto: This series aims at defying this trope, as it was originally intended for a male audience.
- Level Ate: The Door of Gluttony is basically the lovechild of Candyland and Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. It also contains booze.
- Moe: Adrian. Raven, Aaron, Astrid and Annie get some points too.
- Otaku: Annie May, if her name didn't clue you in.
- Seven Deadly Sins: The Stoogebies go through a story arc in which they must pass through seven doors, each one having a deadly sin as its theme.
