Temperonpa is a (prospective) series of Danganronpa fan-RPs run on Discord by wingedcatgirl.

The first entry, Temperonpa 1, takes place in a prison run by a crew of Monobots. It ran for four chapters before being officially cancelled due to loss of interest.

    TR1 Cast

Temperonpa contains examples of:

  • All Crimes Are Equal: As far as the Monobots are concerned, every "crime" deserves the same punishment of being thrown in a killing game — from writing bad screenplays to being born with a disability to thievery to mass murder. It's made very obvious that they don't actually care about law and order, and all this is just an excuse they're using to emotionally torment the players.
  • Cycle of Hurting: In the third chapter of the first game, Greta kills Mr. Game and Watch by stunlocking him with daze magic and slowly punching him to death.
  • Expy: Raziel is a reimagination of an Author Avatar by the same roleplayer in an earlier Fangan, and his backstory includes similarly-reimagined versions of characters he was close friends with in that game.
  • Insistent Terminology: The religious space of nonspecific determination is not a church, because churches are specifically Christian, and this space is nonspecific.
  • Metaphorically True: All the "crimes" revealed as the first motive in TR1 are, approximately, true, but the masterminds stretched the truth as far as they could to make the crimes sound as bad as possible.
    • Simon's canon "crime" of murdering Athena's mother was presented entirely uncritically, despite the masterminds knowing full well that he was falsely convicted due to making a false confession.
    • Loren's "crime" of... having been a shren... was presented the way one might talk about anti-maskers during the COVID-19 Pandemic — accusing her of willingly going around with a contagious disease and risking spreading it to others — despite the fact that it's only contagious under very specific circumstances that she had always scrupulously avoided. And also that she was cured years before the game started.
  • Our Vampires Are Different: Loren is used to Elcenian vampires, who are a highly-religious non-undead Friendly Neighborhood Vampire species who prefer the blood of the Long-Lived (such as dragons like Loren) and whose straw-like fangs produce anesthetic so those they feed from don't feel any pain. She's always nonplussed whenever Kennifer, a more traditional kind of vampire, acts in a manner inconsistent with these expectations.
  • Shout-Out:
  • What Are You in For?: The title of TR1's first chapter. Nobody asks the other inmates what they're in for, largely assuming that it's trumped-up bullshit, but the masterminds reveal it publicly in an attempt to sow distrust.
