"I've already done this joke before. But it was in a story so bad I DELETED IT FOREVER. Good thing it doesn't have a TV Tropes page."
SiFi270 in the author's notes for Lucky SBURB!

Snow Angels is (or rather, was— it has since been deleted) a Haruhi Suzumiya fanfiction by SiFi270, which is different from other Haruhi fanfics for two reasons:

Since the original fanfic can no longer be read, and this article is the only evidence for its existence, all spoilers will be unmarked.

This fanfic features examples of:

  • All Your Powers Combined: Eventually there is a character who is descended from every member of the original SOS Brigade, and thus has all of their powers.
  • Ascended Extra: Kunikida turns out to be part Humanoid Interface, part Time Lord, part Saiyan, and part Vulcan, and plays a major role in the later arcs.
  • Department of Redundancy Department: The TelePortation Device Device, or TPDD for short.
  • The Dog Was the Mastermind:
    • Fujiwara's true identity in this fic is revealed to be a future version of Kyon who went insane
    • The Eldritch Abomination Disaster is none other than Sasaki.
  • Elvis Lives: In one chapter, Mikuru, Yuki, and Miyuki go to the graveyard in which Elvis Presley is buried, in order to convince his ghost to move on to the afterlife. It is stated that sightings of his ghost are responsible for this trope.
  • Foreshadowing: By the end of the first arc, the original Kyon is acting strangely smug. In the second arc it's revealed this has led him to become Fujiwara.
  • Informed Attribute: Disaster's Cosmic Horror status, considering how easily she goes down.
  • Innocent Innuendo: When discussing time travel, Yuki tells her daughter "the first time is generally unpleasant."
  • Laser Blade: Mikuru and Kyouko fight each other with these, because SiFi270 gave the story's one hundredth reviewer the right to include a plot element as a prize, and that is what said one hundredth reviewer chose.
  • Legacy Character: Kyon and his sister are actually descendants of the original Kyon and Haruhi.
  • Mr. Exposition: Whenever someone takes a chapter to explain something, it's titled "Kyon Explains Everything, part X", regardless of who's explaining, even long after he disappears from the story.
  • Mythology Gag: Several references to the original draft, particularly its inclusion of Dracula. He finally makes an appearance in the third arc.
  • Noodle Implements: Yuki's initial plan for dealing with a Humongous Mecha involves a basketball, a pair of size 12 shoes and 300 pounds of cheesecake.
  • Outdated by Canon: Let's just say that the events of The Surprise of Suzumiya Haruhi reveal that there is no way that Original!Kyon could possibly have become Fujiwara.
  • Punctuated! For! Emphasis!: Yuki to Kunikida in chapter 44:
"You underestimate me, you underestimate my allies, and worst of all, you underestimate yourself. Pull. Yourself. Together."
  • Sdrawkcab Alias:
    • Partial example. Dracula uses the alias "Dr. Kolros"... which refers to Count Orlok, not Dracula.
    • A straight example is Alucard, Dracula's son.
  • Small Name, Big Ego: The writer himself. He has no problem with (and is actually quite fond of) taking potshots at much better writers, and this page was basically a love letter to his ego before it was cleaned up.
    • Though the writer has since disowned the fic, and is thankful for the cleanup despite still considering some of the edits to be kind of harsh.
  • Spiritual Successor: A Time of Gray by Racke. SiFi270 considers it to be superior in every way.
  • Tempting Fate: The author's notes mention that they deleted the fanfic forever, and "it's a good thing it doesn't have its own page on TV Tropes". Yeah, about that...
  • Where the Hell Is Springfield?: Lampshaded in chapter 18, though the Haruhi series is set in Nishinomiya, Japan.
  • World of Badass: Whatever its faults, at least the story has every character kick copious amounts of ass.
  • Yuri Fan: The writer, of course, though it's based on subtext from the original novels.
