"Look at all of those historical royal ladies duking it out!"

Regal Brawl is an (imaginary/hypothetical) Platform Fighter game made by Cutegirl920fire.

For as long as the cosmos has existed, the Time-Space Continuum (TSC) was kept in check by its guardian Chronos. Yet something is happening. The continuum is breaking down, timelines crashing and fusing with each other and the concept of matter going haywire. Chronos bravely attempted to fix it, using their normally omnipotent powers but another cosmic being is stopping them. The Distortion, an unimaginable, horrific beast that existed long before the Big Bang. It has awakened and it plans to corrupt the TSC.

Chronos didn't go down without a fight and fought against the Distortion, eventually winning in the end and sealing it away. However, the TSC is still a mess as indicted by the morphed and often changing timelines and Chronos has been severely weakened. Knowing they can't fix time by themself, they then summoned numerous beings from different time periods to the Outer Dimension, a plane of existence outside the TSC, expecting famous scientists that would understand at least the bare minimum of the TSC. However, Chronos ended up summoning historic royal women as Chronos wasn't paying too much attention.

Having exhausted even more power summoning the women, Chronos decided to use the last of its power to grant these women, now called Regals, special abilities in hopes of restoring the TSC as aspects of the Distortion neared.

The Regals

The game's fighter cast, consisting of historical royal women. Taken to the Outer Dimension due to the time-space continuum breaking down, they must figure out a way to navigate their new surroundings and understand the current situation.

Tropes about the Regals in general:

Elizabeth I

Alliance: Team Restore

"Such a strange situation, yet I know that everything England holds dear is at stake. So, let's save the timeline, which should be simple enough to understand."
  • Fiery Redhead: Downplayed example. While the red-headed Elizabeth usually keeps her cool, she has a habit of getting snarky at her opponents and her victory screens often show her being quite gleeful over her win.
