Fatal Frenzy
is a post-based RP that takes after the style of the Danganronpa series. It is set in an underground metro system shortly after the active events of despair. There will be six chapters. Students will explore the facilities, attempt to find a way to escape, and have trials for murders just like the gameplay of Dangan Ronpa.
The official roster of sixteen students (character page found here) was released on September 9, 2014 and the roleplay itself began on September 13.
In addition to sprite art, there will be murder art, map art, and other plot related event art. Murder art will be in video form. Everything will be drawn as close to the Dangan Ronpa style as possible. Things that may or may not be included as of now are: execution art and other event art.
Nyanburu
Mascot
A disconcertingly cheery catlike creature who greeted the students when they regained consciousness on the train.
- Ambiguously Evil: Like Mamoru, Nyanburu refuses to let the students leave Silver Station or divulge why they've been brought there in the first place. While it doesn't seem to be an ally of Monobear's, some students suspect this of being an act.
- Evil Laugh: Ururururu.
- Killer Teddy Bear: To be precise, a killer cat (?).

Mamoru Nomura
Res. Mechanic/Engineer
A young man who was discovered in a secret room by Hiroshi and co. He apparently designed the Silver Station and built Nyanburu, but claims to have no ill will towards the students. While he encourages them to enjoy themselves on the 'tour', he keeps brushing off questions about what's really going on...
He is killed off by Monobear in chapter 1, but has recently been appearing on the students' TV screens late at night and might be planning to help them escape. In chapter 5's virtual reality game, he dies for real. The final trial reveals that he was a member of the Survivor Syndicate and, suspecting that the students had been part of SHSL Despair, wiped their memories and arranged the station tour to formulate new ones.
- Heroic Sacrifice
- Senseless Sacrifice: When Monobear decided to kill Fukumi as an example, he protected her with his life...and then poor Fukumi is killed anyway. And Fukumi was the mastermind the whole time - Monobear was only going to stage her death. They were even thinking of letting him live through the plan.
- Human Pincushion: Monobear's "Arms of Kali" riddle the poor guy with a couple dozen arrows and swords.
- Meaningful Name: Mamoru means to protect. Not only is he guarding the truth about Silver Station, but he's killed by jumping in to protect Fukumi from Monobear's weapons.
- Twinkle Smile: As pictured to the right. Slightly subverted, in that the accompanying sentiment is not very heroic at all:Mamoru: It would be for the best that you cooperated though. Sorry.
- Walking Spoiler: Albeit revealed at the outset of Chapter 1, unlike most hidden characters in Danganronpa games.
Hiroshi Kōda
Super High School Level Good Samaritan
As the eldest son of the Kōda family, Hiroshi had a lot of expectations placed on him. His parents were both often away on business trips or working late at the office, too late to come home all that often, but much to his own chagrin, enough to nag him about his future and school work. Hiroshi had started off as the model student but eventually nosedived into apathy towards his parents wants and his own future. But after an encounter with a man he saved from getting hit by a truck, his life began to slowly turn around. And he soon found himself accepted into Hope's Peak Academy, a place where he seeks to better himself to become someone worthy of the title Super High School Level Good Samaritan.
Hiroshi is eventually revealed to have been behind something called the Reserve Course Alliance, which attempted to deal with the unequal status of reserve students at Hope's Peak. He was also a member of the Survivor Syndicate, but did not agree with their decision to imprison the other students. Although he appeared to have been executed in the penultimate chapter for killing Nomura in Monokuma's video game, he turns out to have survived with a broken arm afterwards.
- Blood-Splattered Innocents: Standing close to the action like any protagonist, Hiroshi gets splattered with Mamoru's blood as he is brutally killed by Monokuma in the beginning of Chapter 1.
- Break the Cutie: In Chapter 2, his tightly-knit group of friends was very tragically and messily torn apart.
- Clear My Name: A minor case but Hiroshi had to do this in the first chapter's trial after Takumi points an accusatory finger at him because of his jacket being found with stains of blood in it.

Takumi Akiyama
Super High School Level Ice Hockey Player
As an Ice Hockey prodigy, Takumi has been competing in national championships since the age of thirteen. He is the star striker of his team, setting the world record of the hardest puck shot at 112.8 mph. Both of his parents worked part time so they were quite a poor family. Because of this, Takumi learned quickly to live with very little. This meant that he spent a lot of time with his older brother. To keep him entertained, his brother would take him down to the local Ice Rink that he volunteered at. Takumi followed a strict training regime as he pushed himself and changed his diet, building up as much stamina and strength as he could for a young boy his age. After showcasing his skill at the local rink, Takumi was scouted by a trainer and was soon indoctrinated into an adult team as the youngest Hockey Player in Japan. The rest is history, what with him playing against many teams in the nationals as well as setting a new world record.
He's the culprit of the second chapter, having killed Shinya upon witnessing him attempt to strangle Ruri. After guiding the other students to discover Shizuka's identity, he confessed.
- Accidental Athlete
- Berserk Button: Don't threaten his friends.
- Beware the Nice Ones: Pressing the aforementioned Berserk Button can send him into a pretty terrifying rage. If Haru hadn't already been slated for execution, it's clear that Takumi would have sought revenge over his attempt to attack Naomi. And to protect Ruri, he ended up killing Shinya.
- Chained by Fashion: Wears what appears to be a large chain as a necklace.
- Cruel and Unusual Death: Chained up to a hockey goal and beaten to death with pucks by robotic players.
- Curtains Match the Window: Though his eyes are of a noticeably lighter shade, but still fits.
- Face Death with Dignity: Zig-zagged. He calmly got out his regrets and encouraged his classmates to vote for him as the killer, even with Ruri screaming that he hated him and wanted him to die. However, his execution is so horrifying that he's unable to keep his composure and dies begging for it to stop.
- Gentle Giant: He has his angry moments, but is generally very open and friendly with his classmates.
- Heroic Self-Deprecation: Spent most of Chapter 2 emphasizing how Shinya's killer deserved punishment and believed Ruri's blood screams were justified.
- Home-Run Hitter: He is known for his powerful Hockey shot nicknamed the "Akiyama Bullet."
- I'm Crying, but I Don't Know Why: After Mamoru Nomura's death he starts crying aggressively. It is thought that the gory violence is a trigger to his past.
- I Want My Beloved to Be Happy: Downplayed example, but after confessing his crush on Shinya, he admitted Ruri was closer to him and promised not to turn things into a Love Triangle. Takes a turn for the tragic when he kills Shinya to save Ruri's life, even though Ruri hates him for it.
- Seriously Scruffy: Beginning in the Case 1 investigation, Takumi begins to lose sleep and forgets to shave. By Chapter 2, he has a scruffy blue stubble and bags under his eyes.
- Taking You with Me: Throughout the Chapter 2 murder, Takumi deliberately lead the group to the clues that he placed in a determination to uncover the identity of Shizuka Gozen as a way to protect the group, knowing full well that he will still be executed for murdering Shinya. Once Haruo is revealed as Shizuka, Takumi lets out a sigh of relief and soon confesses to his crime.
- Team Spirit: He believes that teamwork is the be all or end all of survival.
Ruri Egusa
Super High School Level Skater
A boy who grew up deeply invested in sporting events because living on a farm is BORING. Ruri began practicing when he was ten and super-excelled to the point of winning three competitions, two being international, by the time he was sixteen. Primarily a figure skater, but currently into inline blading.
He is the second victim of chapter three, having walked in on Toragesa pouring bug spray into Mercury Station's water pipes. He is hit against the purification tank and shoved in. He dies of mechanical asphyxia while unconscious.
- Big Brother Instinct: He's used to coddling his younger sister, and now he wants to coddle his classmates.
- Break the Cutie: First, his boyfriend attempts to strangle him to death. Then he turns up dead, and he's initially a suspect. Then another one of Ruri's close friends turns out to be responsible. It's no wonder he snapped.
- Clear My Name: Since he was the last one seen with Shinya, suspicion falls upon him pretty early in the second trial.
- Et Tu, Brute?: When Shinya mistook Ruri for Shizuka Gozen and attempted to kill him.

- Freak Out: At the end of the second trial, he goes from one of the most innocent students to screaming for Takumi's blood.
- I Just Want to Have Friends: Becomes more apparent in the beginning of Chapter 3 where Ruri takes the heat from his classmates for overreacting to Takumi's confession.

Shinya Zaizen
Super High School Level Cartographer
While he isn't as famous as some of his classmates, Shinya's incredibly maps are used by just about every country on the planet. In person, he's somewhat hard to approach, being sickly, paranoid, and with a bad habit of blurting out the wrong thing at the worst possible time.
He's the victim of Chapter 2, found with a fatal stab wound in his abdomen after the blackout lifts. Having discovered Shizuka Gozen's hit-list, he suspected Ruri of being the killer and attacked him, which Takumi walked in on... only to have Shinya attempt to attack him as well.
- Creepy Shadowed Undereyes
- Death Equals Redemption: Not that he was an outright villain, but after Takumi stabbed him, he apologized for what he did and thanked Takumi for saving Ruri. He also gave Takumi the hit-list to warn him about the danger posed to the other students.
- Domestic Abuse: What Takumi thought was happening when he walked in on him choking Ruri.
- Kavorka Man: A rare male-attracting variant. While Shinya isn't 100% Gonk, he is the most unkempt and probably one of the weirdest students, but both Ruri and Takumi confessed to having feelings for him.
- Motor Mouth: When reciting what he's learned about his classmates.

- What the Hell, Hero?: When Hiroshi asks him if he would consider participating in the mutual killing.
Haru Takeyama
Super High School Level Hanakotoba
Born and raised on a farm, Haru was rendered mostly deaf in his left ear after an accident when he was younger. He took to learning hanakotoba (the Japanese language of flowers) to express himself, which led to him striking up a relationship with a certain girl. Unfortunately, she was killed saving Haru from a speeding car. The flower memorials he left at the site of her death drew the attention of the news, and eventually Hope's Peak Academy.
He's the first to be executed as a killer by Monobear, having accidentally given Fukumi Tsuzarahara a heart attack during a struggle over a knife.
- Cruel and Unusual Death: Forced to run through razor-sharp metallic roses, and then crushed beneath the pages of a giant book like a pressed flower.
- Disease Bleach: The hair that grew back over his scars from the accident was white due to heavy stress.
- Murder by Mistake: He stole a knife from the brewery with the intention of killing Naomi, but had second thoughts and tried to return it in secret. Unfortunately, he ran into Fukumi, who saw the knife and panicked, and he ended up slicing open her hand while trying to pull it away from her. Then Fukumi had a heart attack - but Haru wasn't aware that she had a medical condition, so he only thought she'd passed out at first.

- Survivor Guilt: Because he couldn't hear an oncoming car, his girlfriend pushed him out of the way and was struck instead.
Ninsei Yonai
Super High School Level Artistic Gymnast
At the age of three, Ninsei started practicing out of his own free will, first sporadically but soon becoming invested already, guided by his ex-competitive rhythmic gymnast turned gymnast instructor mother Keiko Yonai and her partner Nanase Ariga of aerobics fame. Together they own the Hatsuseiha Gymnastics Training Facility, famous in its own right for the successful junior teams Keiko has coached into victory. He already got famous, but at the age of eleven Ninsei stopped competing due to an accident that hospitalized him. In a surprising turn of events, he returned to dominate his sport at the age of thirteen. Not only is he the best gymnast as All-Around events, he has competed in everything from artistic gymnastics to rhythmic, and has awlays performed well in all of these. Currently, Ninsei is officially a part of Japanese National Gymnastics Team, and is scheduled to debut at the next World Cup, and before that at the Summer Universiade. He's aiming for the Olympics.
He survives until the end of the game.

- In the Blood: His biological mother was also a rhythmic gymnast (before becoming an instructor).

Tsubasa Mariya IX
Super High School Level Chocolatier
The latest in a long line of world-famous dessert masters. Though Tsubasa's life was essentially planned out for him, he truly does enjoy his talent. Unfortunately, his admission to Hope's Peak came at the same time as a volley of accusations about his family buying favorable reviews and even using addictive drugs in their recipes.
The first victim of Chapter three, he falls into Hiroshi Koda's arms after showing signs of dizziness and loss of balance. He died from Diethyltoluamide poisoning, after only drinking the water which Toragesa poisoned with bug spray.
- Clear My Name / Clear Their Name: Part of his raison d'etre is to disprove the malicious rumors that has surfaced about his family and their business.
- Curtains Match the Window
- Final Speech: "It was a terrible notion that water would have sufficed as my supper… It is true that those we meet can change us, sometimes so profoundly that we are not the same afterwards, even unto our names." "I wished to be strong and protect… perhaps I still can somehow. Tigers and water don’t really mix well…"
- Older Than They Look: Is sixteen years old but could easily be mistaken for a young child, especially given his height.

- That Came Out Wrong: "You're hard!" (He was just admiring Takumi's muscles, really.)

Fukumi Tsuzarahara
Super High School Level Speedcuber
A girl who's had a love for puzzles since a very young age, Fukumi's specialty is the Rubix cube. She's constantly seeking new ways to challenge her skills and intellect.
She's the first official victim of the mutual-killing game (albeit accidentally), having suffered a heart attack during an altercation with Haru Takeyama. Later, she is revealed to have been the mastermind behind Monokuma; a special machine restarted her heart. For being exposed, she's executed by being split up in a giant Rubik's Cube.
- Hollywood Heart Attack: Averted, as she simply appears to collapse. But the prevalence of this trope means that Haru doesn't realize exactly what's happened until it's too late.
- Sacrificial Lamb: Fukumi sadly turns out to be the first victim, dying from a heart attack after being saved by Nomura following a Senseless Sacrifice and being set up as Deuteragonist of sorts to Hiroshi.
Haruo Minami/Haruo Shizuka
Super High School Level Class President
Not much is known about her, other than the achievements she earned as a class president. She entered middle school after many years of home school, she quickly earned everyone's trust and respect, becoming the most popular in class. It was already obvious that she would become the next class president and so she did, Haruo became the class president every year, bringing her class to the top with her leadership skills and energy, even making it on the front page of the newspaper. One could only be so lucky to be placed in her class to earn the attention and fame.
Chapter 2 revealed her to be the 'Genocider' student and vigilante known as Shizuka Gozen. In chapter 4, she died at the hands of Tsubaki Sugawara.
- Absurd Phobia: Nobody would be able to guess the class president has a fear of the cold after all, right?
- Beautiful All Along: Not that she's unattractive to begin with, but the times when she's taken off her glasses or let her hair down have caught a few students off-guard. (An example.◊)

Suzuka Tsujio
Super High School Level Pro Se Litigant
Tsubaki Sugawara's partner in crime - or rather, in court. After a victorious lawsuit against the juggernaut Mikata Corporation for dumping chemicals in residential areas, the two of them made their mark in Japanese legal history. While Suzuka has a steadfast dedication to upholding justice, she's nowhere near as friendly as her companion.
Survives until the end of the game.
- Blind Without 'Em: Specifically, very longsighted.
- Brutal Honesty: To the point where she was reputed in-universe for courtroom Trash Talk, once making a witness in the Mikata case cry during a particularly harsh cross-examination.
- Claustrophobia
- The Cynic: Although she's never been a Pollyanna, her Cynicism Catalyst could be said to be the environmental disaster caused by the Mikata Corporation (most notably its harm to civilians in the neighbouring prefecture).
- Hates Being Touched
- Hates Small Talk: And pretty much anything that isn't an argument, though she has a knack for turning situations into them fairly rapidly. In reality, a case of No Social Skills.
- Iron Lady
- Jerkass: When it comes to social issues, Jerkass Has a Point.
- And again in the first trial; even though everyone feels bad for Haru and doesn't want to vote for him, Suzuka points out that he did nothing to prevent them possibly voting for the wrong culprit and being killed instead. Not to mention that he was planning to kill Naomi beforehand.
- Gold-Colored Superiority: Her glasses and eyes.
- Good Is Not Nice: While she may be formally aligned with the side of good in the Mikata Corp case, her vision of justice decidedly doesn't extend to treating others with decency.
- Graceful Ladies Like Purple: Subverted, in that while her entire aesthetic leans towards 'graceful lady', her personality and general bearing are far less elegant.
- Knight in Sour Armor
- Lean and Mean: Tends towards lankiness with extremely minimal levels of muscle and fat. Also tends towards padding out her arguments with similar levels of tact.
- Meaningful Name: Suzuka Tsujio (two 'sue' sounds) who is famous specifically for a lawsuit. Yes, it's ridiculous, no, I'm not taking it off.
- Must Have Caffeine
- Odd Friendship: With Takumi.
- One Head Taller: Than Tsubaki. Maybe more.
- Opposites Attract: Designed as a moral Foil to Tsubaki, often leading them to converse Like an Old Married Couple. Despite this, they trust each other implicitly.

- Smart People Know Latin: Partially subverted, in that it's unclear whether she "speaks" Latin or just constantly drops stock legal and logic phrases.

- They Call Me MISTER Tibbs!: That's Tsujio-san to you.
- To Be Lawful or Good: Happily, the two person law team allows for one lawful and one...less lawful. No points for guessing which one Suzuka might be.
- Trademark Favorite Drink: Canned coffee sweetened with stevia, specifically of the Moontory Chief brand.
- The Unapologetic: Both in general, and notably towards Toragesa, although the latter was fixed during her Ordered Apology at the masquerade.
- Younger Than They LookFukumi: I don’t have a plan at all, I’m really really lost, Teacher.Suzuka: Tsuzarahara-shi, I am eighteen years old.
Naomi Han
Super High School Level Ballerina
This moody ballerina from Okinawa became famous overnight when a video of her fighting off two drunk men went viral. Hope's Peak Academy scouted her shortly afterwards, and she was named Super High School Level Ballerina for her outstanding strength in dance. While her acceptance to the academy has been criticized for giving other ballerinas a bad example, she's also credited with attracting a new wave of young ballet fans.
Survives until the end of the game.
- Afraid of Doctors: Anything related to them will quickly put her in a bad mood. Witnessing a gory car crash as a child traumatized her to the point where she began associating hospitals with death, which obviously wasn't helped by her mother dying.
- All of the Other Reindeer: As a child, for being on the puny side and half-Korean. She's also had to put up with people presuming her to be a troublemaker based on her appearance.
- Berserk Button: Don't make fun of her hair bows. Or her ballet shoes, or ballet in general. And only say anything bad about her family if you've got a death wish.
- Book Dumb: Schoolwork is listed as one of her dislikes, but she has an incredibly extensive knowledge of ballet, and is also determined to learn foreign languages so she can visit theaters in other countries.
- But Not Too Foreign: She's half-Korean on her mother's side.
- Crippling Overspecialization: Ballet's actually the only form of dance she can do.
- Delinquent Hair: What most people think it is. It's actually her natural color.
- Even Bad Girls Love Their Mamas
- Fangirl: Her two favorite items are thinly-veiled references to JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Street Fighter. She has plenty of merch from both franchises in her room. She also confused Shizuka Gozen with Suzuka Gongen.
- Friendless Background: She was picked on as a kid and began avoiding her peers almost entirely after her mother died.
- Gamer Chick: She's an avid player of fighting games.
- Held Back in School: She's one of the older students at 19 years old, having been held back twice for cutting classes.
- Hypocrite: As noted in her profile, one of Naomi's biggest hangups is being judged based on her appearance, but she has a tendency to do the same thing herself. Namely, she thinks that most popular or upstanding types only behave the way they do to get away with things.
- I Wished You Were Dead: A variation. She confesses to Tsubaki that she essentially gave up on her mother as soon as she learned she was sick (although she was angry at Hyeon's chronic leukemia being kept from her), believing that she'd never recover. It didn't lessen the pain when she actually did die, and she feels like she was responsible as a result.
- Japanese Delinquents: What she's frequently taken for. Despite being publicly christened "Delinquent Ballerina" and constantly threatening to beat people up, she actually hasn't done much worse than constantly skipping school.
- Missing Mom: Her mother, Hyeon, died of leukemia when Naomi was 13.
- Miss Swears-a-Lot
- Must Have Caffeine: If she doesn't get her hands on coffee when waking up, hide.
- Never Got to Say Goodbye: Because she was afraid of going to the hospital, she missed the chance to patch things up with her mother before she died.
- Not a Morning Person: Considers waking up before 9 A.M. to be inhumane.
- Once Done, Never Forgotten: Because of the viral video (which also resulted in her 'Delinquent Ballerina' nickname), most people assume she'll start a fight at the slightest provocation. Whenever it's brought up, Naomi bemoans that it was a one-time thing, although her frequent threats of violence don't help.
- Polar Opposite Twins: Her twin brother is a soft-spoken model student.
- The Knights Who Say "Squee!": She's very excited about being classmates with several of the sports-themed students who she recognizes from TV.
- Theme Twin Naming: Has a fraternal twin brother named Naoki. Both their names begin with the same character (which means 'honest').
- Tomboy with a Girly Streak: Although it's a bit of a gray area - her love of ballet comes not from the femininity of it, but because she admires the strength of the dancers. She still has a definite like for the color pink though.
- Trademark Favorite Food: Pineapple pizza.
- Tsundere: More often than not, her angry outbursts are an attempt to cover up other emotions.
Tsubaki Sugawara
Super High School Level Plaintiff
When the Mikata Corporation dumped hazardous chemicals near her home, Tsubaki took to the internet to begin gathering evidence and testimonies, where she met Suzuka Tsujio. Some years later, they took Mikata to court, and - against all odds - came out on top. Tsubaki can frequently be found raising awareness for various causes, and her sunny demeanor forms an interesting dynamic with Suzuka's cold efficiency.
Having killed Haruo/Shizuka in chapter 4, she's executed by drowning.

- There Is No Higher Court: Averted for the Mikata Corp case—Tsubaki and Suzuka were actually victorious, and then Mikata Corp appealed.
- To Be Lawful or Good: Happily, the two person law team allows for one lawful and one...less lawful. At least it worked out for Tsubaki, who was entirely happy with her own conduct and the results of the Mikata Corp case. At least until the 'to be continued.'

Michina Konoe
Super High School Level Tennis Player
Michina was famous long before her acceptance to Hope's Peak Academy, having been mysteriously kidnapped at the age of five. She reappeared ten years later, but with no memory of the incident, and the press eagerly gobbled up her story. Her relieved parents showered her with attention to the point where she became spoiled rotten. After discovering her talent on the country club courts, she quickly became known as "Japan's Sweetheart".
She's punished during the second motive announcement when she attempts to walk down the tunnel along the depowered rail and gets squished by a train. The second trial revealed that she was actually an imposter named Miho. The fate of the real Michina is unknown.

Toragesa Hahakigi
Super High School Level Janitor
Having worked since a young age to support her cash-strapped family, Toragesa found a simple satisfaction in cleaning that helped her uncle's janitorial business rake in the customers. When, in the wake of a recent lawsuit, one of the Mikata Corp buildings was plastered in graffiti, Toragesa skipped two days of school and took on the entire job by herself. Her disinterest in the surrounding politics meant that her media presence afterwards was brief, but it was still enough for Hope's Peak to extend her an invitation - an offer too good to pass up.
She is found guilty of murdering in chapter three, when she found the keys to the purification facility, she used it to pour bug spray into the water for the Mercury Station. Tsubasa drinks this water and succumbs to the poison, dying in Hiroshi Koda's arms. Ruri walks in while she does this, thus he is killed by being hit against the tank and thrown in while unconscious. She is punished by being thrown in a garbage truck and unloaded into an incinerator. She is turned into a pack of cigarettes, with her face on the cover.
- Cigarette of Anxiety: Has an urge to smoke when things start going south, but dislikes the habit.
- Face of a Thug: Has pretty beady and mean-looking eyes, but is an overall laid-back girl.

- Promotion to Parent: A variant of this, while both parents are still alive they've been absent enough to make Toragesa take this role to her siblings.
Eiji Kobayashi
Super High School Level Florist
Not much is known about Eiji; it's almost as if their flowers bloomed and were noticed everywhere overnight. They've been sighted by news stations and that got them noticed. Anybody can sight them, wandering around, pushing a small trolley crammed with dazzling flowers. They think it's a much more effective way rather than opening a store. Late in the day, they're often sleeping on the side of roads or cooling down in a nearby hotel. When not selling their flowers, Ei returns to their grandmother's house in a remote village, although nobody has actually seen them interacting out in the open. It's unknown if they have any other relatives as they're always traveling about. They're a mystery.
After chapter three, they revealed a more abrasive personality, known simply as Ei. They were one of the survivors of the game.
- Cannot Tell a Joke: When Takumi called them bud, Eiji attempted to come up with something equally witty. It didn't turn out how they wanted it to.Eiji:"I’ve heard of you before, Akiyama-san… The one they call Takoom— … Takumi Akiyama… Ice Hockey All Star… right…? That’s… cool… …cool like ice…"
- Cool Crown: It's pretty much flowers in their hair but it's a crown nonetheless.
- Go-to Alias: What do you mean Ei the Flower Vagabond isn't their name?
- Hero-Worshipper: In the first trial, among the one versus one debating, they seemed to have found a handful of students admirable. Despite disliking anything loud, it seems that they made quite a few exceptions for their heroes.
- Youthful Freckles: Their sprites seem to sport these.
Izumi Kurosawa
Super High School Level Paranormal Investigator
The star of Phanta5m, a popular ghost-hunting program that ran for eight months in Japan. Izumi's fascination with the occult at first made them reluctant to attend Hope's Peak Academy, but the prospect of enhancing their skills and taking on bigger cases eventually won out. They don't speak much and will frequently address others with written signs.
Survives until the end of the game.
- Eyepatch of Power: Certainly exudes the aura that is required for the trope, though if they actually do anything badass is meant to be seen.
- Show Within a Show: Phanta5m, where most people know them from.
Lady Shizuka/Shizuka Gozen/Haruo Minami
Super High School Level Commander
An assassin and leader of Japan's largest underground law force, Shizuka executes criminals that have escaped punishment for their deeds. When the students discover a list of targets in the station - including the recently-deceased Michina Konoe - they must confront the possibility that she is lurking amongst them.
In actuality, she is a split personality of Haruo's. 'Both' of them died in chapter four at the hands of Tsubaki.
- Corruption of a Minor: Haruo tells Tsubaki that ever since she was a child, she was taught to kill under the instructions of the elders in her family.
- Four Is Death: She is recorded to have killed forty seven in her life, although that was just in her days as a serial killer, so the real number of people she has murdered is unknown.
- Good Eyes, Evil Eyes: Compared to Haruo's big and hopeful eyes, Shizuka's eyes are more narrow and shifty.
- Meaningful Name: Hints at her true identity. Shizuka Gozen is a character from 12th-century Japanese poetry, the mistress of Minamoto no Yoshitsune.
- Vigilante Man: And commands a small army of them as well.
- Yuri Fan: While Haruo appears to be interested in the relationship between two guys, Shizuka finds more interest in girl's love.
Alter Buddy
A navigational device left behind by the late Shinya Zaizen who was additionally programmed to have a 'soul,' modeled in the image of Shinya's ideal self.
