Dillon Merry is a main character featuring in the first few episodes of Blackwater, however he dies pretty early on. His death is the cause of many later events, and sets up the series itself. He is the good-hearted mayor of Blackwater, before being murdered by Barclay under Rupert's orders. He is extremely naive, and is one of the few people in town who doesn't know about all of the legal deeds the sherrif is committing. He is part of the Neutral Good alignment.
