- Viney's reaction to Luz unleashing a group of chow chows on her as a beast for her to tame.Viney: Squee! You look like a wittle marshmallow rain cloud! (gets licked by the chow chow she's holding) So that's how you treat emotional scars.
- While searching through Luz's old clothes, Amity becomes captivated by an otter costume Manny had her wear as a baby and has Ghost wear it so she and Luz can take pictures.
- When Luz introduces the Hexsquad to Vee, Willow, Gus, and Amity gush over how adorable she is for a basilisk, subverting her belief that they'd be afraid of her. However, their invasive attention makes her wish they did.Vee: Heeelp meee... (Gus pats her head, Willow hugs her, and Amity takes a picture of them on her scroll)
Luz: Aww, see? They aren't scared of you.
Vee: Noooo! This is worse! - The Hexsquad finds the sight of Ghost floating on water mesmerizing, especially Vee.
- "Basilisk" has Luz lie to her classmate after they see a picture of her and Vee on her phone, claiming Vee is a life-sized Basilisk plushie. Said classmate however succumbs to this, Luz trying to dissuade her by saying it would cost $200, only to immediately be given the cash. Soon, she ends up making one and brings it to the school where her classmate proceeds to glomp it, causing everyone to want one, with Luz now having Amity helping her make them.Luz: We got 128 orders in 2 days.
- "First Met" has Luz introducing King to Stringbean. King gets jealous of her when Luz calls her the cutest, and tries to assert that he's cuter, before Stringbean turns into a copy of Francois. King hugs her and concedes.King: Now listen here... Stringbean. We both know who's the cutest one here- That would be- (sees Stringbean-Francois) You... shall be Francois's little sister.
- ">:3" has Stringbean sneak into Luz's backpack and go to school with her despite telling her not to, only for the head cheerleader and her posse to see her. Luz tells Stringbean to scare them away with her "angry face"... which just ends up making them gush over Stringbean being adorable and start petting her.
- "Eda Has the Right Idea" has Eda trying to convince Luz to let her sell marketable plushies of Luz, including a draw string that makes the plush say "Belos was a dodo head!" While Luz refuses to budge on it, Amity immediately wants to buy eight of them once Eda reveals it comes with a tiny otter suit.
- Camila, wanting to take Ayzee to the mall, attempts to conceal her ears with Luz's old beanie. Instead, Ayzee asks Stringbean to serve as such, creating the "Beany Beanie".
- In order to buy Viney time to erase Boscha's memory of the Secret Room of Shortcuts, Barcus distracts Amelia who asks to rub his belly.
- Stringbean herself falls for this along with Ghost, both falling in love with Ayzee the moment she stuck her tongue out as a baby.
- Gus uses this against Hunter in order to get him to sleep. While Hunter takes a quick power nap at Gus' suggestion, Gus places Flapjack, Emmiline, Clover, and Ghost on top of him as they all sleep too. Hunter can't move because he doesn't want to wake them all up.
