Thomas Edward Bosley (October 1, 1927 – October 19, 2010) was an American actor, TV personality, and entertainer best known for his roles on Happy Days, Father Dowling Mysteries, and Murder, She Wrote (the former two are now both owned by CBS Studios). He was also a commercial spokesman for Glad trash bags for many years, and won a Tony Award for his Broadway role as NYC Mayor Fiorello La Guardia in the hit 1959 musical Fiorello!.

He was married to Jean Eliot and Patricia Carr and had one child.

Bosley died in 2010 at the age of 83 from a staph infection after battling lung cancer.
