Tim Healy, born Timothy Malcolm Healy, (29 January 1952), is a British actor best known for playing Dennis Patterson in Auf Wiedersehen, Pet.
His acting career began in the Live Theatre Company, where he appeared in drama productions in halls and clubs. He rose to fame in 1983 after he was cast as Dennis Patterson in Auf Wiedersehen, Pet, a Dramedy about a load of Brits working abroad on a construction job in Germany.
At the start of The '90s, he starred as Reg Toomer in the short-lived series Boys from the Bush and Foxy in Common as Muck two years after the end of that. In 2000, he played abusive father Billy McCarten in the film Purely Belter and the year after was cast as another father, Ralph Breeze in the surreal sitcom Breeze Block. Despite his high hopes for the series, it was only aired online.
In his later years, he played Crossdresser Lesley Conroy in Benidorm and Gastric in Still Open All Hours.
His son Matty is well known as the lead singer of The 1975.
