Creator / Stephen Greif

Stephen Greif (26 August 1944 - 23 December 2022) was an English actor. He was perhaps best known for playing the villainous Travis in the first season of Blake's 7 (1978).

He departed after one season to pursue other roles, in part because he found Travis's continued failed attempts to kill Blake repetitive and that the character was not getting any development. The role was recast to Brian Croucher for the following season.

He subsequently reprised the role of Travis in audio form for Big Finish's range of Blake's 7 audio dramas from 2013 onwards, the last of which was released in December 2022, the month of his passing.
