Creator / Ronnie Brody

Ronnie Brody, (6 November 1918 — 8 May 1991), was a British character actor.

He appeared in many comedy roles - both on TV and in films.

He started on The Benny Hill Show and appeared in many more series afterward including five episodes of Sykes and many of David Croft's sitcoms including Dad's Army, Are You Being Served?, and Hi-de-Hi!.

He also appeared in two Carry On films and two episodes of the TV series Carry on Laughing!. Other films he was in include The Bliss of Mrs. Blossom, The Bed Sitting Room, The Ritz, and Superman III.

Late in his career, he starred in The Nineteenth Hole with Eric Sykes as John Wilberforce, the Steward. His final acting role came in 1990's crime drama, The Fool.

He died at the age of 72.
