Robert Tinkler (born May 12, 1973) is a Canadian actor, writer and comedian born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He is often credited simply as "Rob Tinkler".

Robert Tinkler is one of the most prominent voice actors in the Toronto talent pool, with his versatile voice range and strong deliveries making him a highly in-demand name for cartoons and anime dubs produced in Canada. While his list of characters is nearly endless, his most noticeable roles arguably include Max in The Adventures of Sam & Max: Freelance Police, the title character of Pelswick, Delete in Cyberchase, Howie in Almost Naked Animals, Gingka Hagane in Nelvana's dub of Metal Fight Beyblade, and Rubeus in the DiC dub of Sailor Moon. He's also the current voice for Woodstock of Peanuts fame (playing alongside Terry McGurrin, the current voice of Snoopy).

Outside of cartoons and anime, Rob is also recognizable for appearing in Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle as one of Harold's co-workers J.D., as well as voicing the Pillsbury Doughboy in Canadian commercials featuring the character.

Tropes associated with Robert Tinkler:

  • Man of a Thousand Voices: Considering the amount of characters he's voiced, it's not that surprising.
  • What Could Have Been: In the original cut of Thomas and the Magic Railroad, Tinkler was supposed to play Patch as an adult, married with Lily. He's still credited in the film though. note
