Robert Norman Smith (1965 – July 22, 2020) was a Canadian voice actor, best known for voicing Spot in Rolie Polie Olie, Goliath in JoJo's Circus and Holley in Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Friends.
In 2008, Smith was pleaded guilty of possessing and one charge of distributing child sexual abuse material and received a 20-month prison sentence. He also was charged with an additional two and three counts each of distributing, possessing and accessing child sexual abuse material in June 2020. These incidents killed his career and hasn't acted since.
Smith passed away on July 22, 2020 at the age of 55, seven years of being separated from the recording booth.
