Richard Joseph Libertini (May 21, 1933 – January 7, 2016) was an American character actor and voice artist from Cambridge, Massachusetts, best known for such films as The In-Laws (1979), Popeye (1980), Fletch (1985), and Awakenings (1990) and for his extensive television work.
He was married to actress Melinda Dillon from 1963 to 1978 and they had one child.
Libertini sadly died in 2016 at the age of 82 from cancer.
