Press Play was a Copenhagen, Denmark-based game developer known for Max and the Magic Marker and its sequel, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood. In 2012, Press Play was purchased by Microsoft Studios and released Curse of Brotherhood within the launch window for the Xbox One. The studio was closed by Microsoft in 2016 and its work-in-progress project, Knoxville, was canceled.
Following Press Play's closure, the founders of the studio reformed as Flashbulb Games and started work on a new project entitled Trailblazers.
