Patafoin
is a French YouTuber who is best known for his Sonic the Hedgehog sprite animations. He has also made Super Mario Bros. and Pokémon sprite animations.
At some point in time, Patafoin began working on making 3D Pokémon animations alongside his sprite animations.

General Tropes
- Art Evolution: Later sprite animations would give the characters more sprites, making them more expressive.
- Author Avatar: Quite a few. He's primarily represented by Metal Sonic, as well as a redesign of Lord Crump, a hat wearing Knuckles known as Sandwich Patafoin, and a Vulpix. In Patafoin's life in Pokemon, Pokemon are given the usernames of other sprite animators alongside Patafoin.

- Take That, Audience!: In response to his fans demanding for either Nemesis Revenge or Patafoin's Life In Pokemon, Patafoin made a video depicting Sandwich Patafoin and the Crump OC in the fans' place, and Metal Sonic Patafoin deciding to make a Pizza Tower/Rhythm Heaven parody instead, tells Vulpix Patafoin to burn the two criticizers when they're dissatisfied, and ends the video with a black card saying that he makes the videos that he wants to make.
