Creator / Michelle Paver

Michelle Paver (born 7 September 1960) is a British^note born in the British protectorate of Nyasaland (now Malawi), but raised in England author of Middle Grade Literature, as well as the adult horror novel Dark Matter. She is known for doing extensive research for her novels, especially Chronicles of Ancient Darkness, for which she studied wolf and raven behavior, traveled through northern Finland, used stone age tools and clothing, and swam with killer whales.
