Louis Zorich (February 12, 1924 – January 30, 2018) was an American stage and screen actor. He was best known for The Muppets Take Manhattan, Brooklyn Bridge, and Mad About You.
Zorich served in the U.S. Army during World War II. After training as an actor in his native Chicago he started his professional career in Canada. He was married to actress Olympia Dukakis and the couple had three children. He was also the uncle of National Football League defensive tackle Chris Zorich. He died of undisclosed causes at the age of 93.
