Louis Perry "Louie" Anderson (March 24, 1953 – January 21, 2022) was an American stand-up comedy pioneer, occasional actor, game show host, one-time cartoon star and all-around funny guy. He also starred as Breakout Character Christine on Baskets.
On January 18, 2022, Anderson was hospitalized for treatment of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma; he passed away 3 days later at the age of 68.
