Cristela Alonzo (born January 6, 1979 in San Juan, Texas) is an American comedian, actor, writer, and producer. Alonzo is best known for creating the sitcom Cristela, in which she was the first American Latina woman to create, produce and star in her own sitcom.
In 2021, she became host of the reboot of the Nickelodeon game show Legends of the Hidden Temple.
