Walter Lane Smith III (April 29, 1936 – June 13, 2005) was an American actor.
Probably best remembered for Lois & Clark (in which he played Perry White), The Mighty Ducks, and My Cousin Vinny, Smith also earned a Golden Globe nomination for his portrayal of President Richard Nixon in the 1989 TV movie The Final Days.
He was married twice and had three children, and died in 2005 from Lou Gehrig's disease at age 69.
