"Dreams are something you have to believe in. I almost gave up on mine. To all of you out there, please keep your dreams alive."
— From his acceptance speech for the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Everything Everywhere All at Once

Ke Huy Quannote  (born August 20, 1971 in Saigon, nowadays' Ho Chi Minh City) is a Vietnamese-born American actor and stunt choreographer.

After his family fled Vietnam as refugees following the end of the war, he became a successful child actor in The '80s, playing Short Round in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Data in The Goonies.

Following several roles in The '90s, Quan retired from acting in the early 2000s due to the lack of roles for Asian actors in Hollywood, working as a stunt choreographer for X-Men and an assistant director for The One and 2046.

However, Quan returned to acting in 2019, being inspired to do so following the success of Crazy Rich Asians. His career experienced a major resurgence because of his widely acclaimed performance in 2022's Everything Everywhere All at Once, for which he won multiple awards, including the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. The win made Quan the second of two actors of Asian descent to win an Oscar in that categorynote  and the first Vietnam-born actor to win an Oscar.

Since then, Quan appeared in the Disney+ series American Born Chinese and joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Ouroboros in the second season of Loki. In June 2023, it was announced that he had been invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as an actor.
