Tropes associated with Nakashima:

  • Info Dump: Most likely derived from working mainly as a playwright with time and stage limits, affirmed by the directors and actors he worked with, Nakashima loves to dump loads and loads of expositions into his works. Director Imaishi notes he’s not fond of them, and would have some characters drowse over them if he could (in a fun way).
  • World of Ham: His stories tend to be filled with loud-mouthed and hot-blooded characters who shout boisterous dialogue at the top of their lungs.
