James Mangold (born December 16, 1963 in New York City, New York) is an American film director, screenwriter, and producer.
He's best known for directing the biopic Walk the Line, the superhero films The Wolverine and Logan, and Sports Story Ford V Ferrari.
He notably studied filming in Miloš Forman's classes.
