In 2008, Introversion announced Subversion, a game focusing on procedurally generated urban areas and infiltraing secure buildings with a team of operatives. The game proved to be too ambitious, and after years of development, the game ultimately ceased development to focus on Prison Architect.
In January 2019, it was announced that the Prison Architect IP was sold completey to Paradox, in order for Introversion to move on to further projects.
