Hilary Minster, born Roger Michael Hilary Minster, (21 March 1944 — 24 November 1999), was a British character actor best known for playing General von Klinkerhoffen in 'Allo 'Allo!.

He was also well-known for his recurring role in Secret Army as Hauptmann Muller, and briefly writing scripts with Kenneth Williams for International Cabaret. In 1974, he appeared in an episode of Upstairs Downstairs as Lieutenant Lightfoot. He also made two separate appearances in Doctor Who, the second appearance coming alongside future 'Allo 'Allo! co-star Guy Siner.

In 1984, he made a guest appearance in the first series of 'Allo 'Allo! as General von Klinkerhoffen, and later returned for the final episode of Series 2 and the following Christmas Episode. From Series 3 onwards, Minster was a regular (albeit playing a sillier version of the General). While his film appearances were scarce compared to those on TV, he had roles in A Bridge Too Far, The Godsend, Cry Freedom and The Girl in a Swing.

He died from cancer at the age of 55.
