This creator and her works in general provide examples of:

  • Based on a Dream: According to Gooseworx in a 2022 tweet, "like 90% of my content is based on or inspired by dreams I've had."
  • Production Posse: Has collaborated with Evan Alderete on various projects, including EVTVWeather, The Blue Channel, and the soundtracks for Hazbin Hotel, The Pink City, and The Amazing Digital Circus.
  • Surreal Humor: A number of her works, such as Little Runmo and The Pink City, feature absurd things happening for humor.

Other works provide examples of:

  • Album Closure:
    • The last song on Pir8s is a Medley of various songs from the album.
    • "Supernova Shakedown", the last song in the space girl series, includes bits from the two preceding songs.
  • Alliterative Title:
    • The space girl songs each have a title of two words starting with the same letters: "Starlane Stroll", "Blackhole Blitz", and "Supernova Shakedown".
    • "Slutty Spider Polka Pop"
  • *Bleep*-dammit!: "No April Fools Day Video This year..." has a censor asterisk just after an uncensored "fuck":
but don't say that or I'll fuck*ng kill you.
  • Everything Except Most Things: In the 2023 video "No April Fools Day Video This year...", Gooseworx claims that she has "never missed an April Fools day upload except for 2017 and 2015 and 2013 and 2011".
  • Jolly Roger: Pir8s's cover has Edaline's skull head with crossed music notes underneath forming a skull and crossbones.
  • Letters 2 Numbers: Pir8s's title is "Pirates" with an 8 standing in for the "ate". The album cover also spells it as "πR8S", replacing the "Pi" with the letter pi.
  • Stylistic Suck: "No April Fools Day Video This year..." is deliberately low quality, with text that's full of typos and grammatical errors, doesn't fit on the screen, or is placed over a background that makes it hard to read. Some of the transition times are slightly off, and the video ends abruptly with a frame reading "cutoff prevention".
