Francis Elliott Kranz (born July 13, 1981 in Los Angeles, California), credited as Fran Kranz, is an American actor and filmmaker. As an actor he is best known for the Joss Whedon productions Dollhouse and The Cabin in the Woods. In 2021 he made his debut as a film screenwriter and director with Mass.
Since 2015 Kranz has been married to Spencer Margaret Richmond, making him the son-in-law of Jaclyn Smith.
