Edward Vincent Bracken (February 7, 1915 – November 14, 2002) was an American actor who began on vaudeville and soon moved to legitimate theatre, film, radio, and eventually television. He was best known for The Miracle of Morgan's Creek, Hail the Conquering Hero, and National Lampoon's Vacation.
Bracken was married to Anna Constance Nickerson and the couple had five children. He died of complications from surgery at the age of 87, just a few months after his late wife.
