Diana Dors (born Diana Mary Flucknote ; 23 October 1931 – 4 May 1984) was an English actress and singer.
Dors first came to public notice as a blonde bombshell, and was promoted as Britain's answer to Marilyn Monroe. Though this certainly helped her profile, and has ensured her immortality, it also tended to work against a genuine talent as an actress and comedienne. Later in her career, she moved into character roles. Many of which played off her earlier sex bomb persona, including playing several Miss Kitty-type roles.
Dors was married three times, with her second husband being future Match Game panelist and original Family Feud host Richard Dawson.
