Denver Dell Pyle (May 11, 1920 – December 25, 1997) was an American actor, director, and oil speculator. He was best known for The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, Bonnie and Clyde, and The Dukes of Hazzard.

In his later years Pyle had become wealthy through his investments in oil speculation, but continued to act because he enjoyed it. He was married twice—to Marilee Carpenter and Tippie Johnston—and had two children with Carpenter. He died of lung cancer on Christmas Day at the age of 77.
