Davidson & Associates, Inc. was an American video game developer based in Torrance, California. They are most notable for creating the Blaster edutainment game series.
The company was founded in 1982 by Bob and Jan Davidson, a Creator Couple. Following the retirement of the Davidsons in 1997, the company was taken over by Knowledge Adventure's then-CEO Larry Gross. You can probably see where this is going. Sure enough, the two companies were merged. By 1998, the "Davidson" label had been retired and their products were placed under the "Knowledge Adventure" banner.
Games published by Davidson & Associates include:
- Blaster Series
- Chicka Chicka Boom Boom (1995 PC adaptation of the 1989 children's book)
- Deer Avenger
- Grammar Games
- Learning Voyage (developed by Learningways, Inc., a subsidiary)
- Math for the Real World
