They already had three Geordies, a West Country guy, and a Brummie. I told them I had fluent Scouse if that was any help. And Moxey was born."

Christopher Fairbank, (4 October 1953), is a British actor best known for playing Moxey in Auf Wiedersehen, Pet.

After graduating from RADA in 1974, he made his stage debut that same year in The Wisest Fool as Prince Henry at the Civic Theatre in Darlington, as he was the understudy to the leading man who had fallen ill.

After a few years of small TV roles, he was cast as former arsonist Moxey in Auf Wiedersehen, Pet in 1983, and stuck with the role in both the original series and the Revival in 2002.

Since The '90s, he has appeared in many films from Batman (1989) to Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) and provided voiceovers for video games since the late 2000s.
