Bahar Soomekh (born March 30, 1975 in Tehran, Iran) is a retired American actress. Born to a devout Persian Jewish family, they left during the Iranian Revolution in 1979. She began acting in the early 2000s, and had appeared in many TV shows or films. Her best known roles have been from the film Crash and the Saw films. After an exodus of acting jobs from Hollywood, Soomekh switched careers to real estate rather than moving apart from her family and home in Los Angeles.

She married Clayton Frech in 2001 (he converted to Judaism beforehand) and they have three sons together. Their eldest, Ezra, is a star paralympic athlete (he was born missing part of his leg, having the rest removed later before getting a prosthetic, along with missing fingers). He has become an advocate for other disabled athletes. Her sister Saba is a professor of theological studies at UC Berkeley, concentrating on Persian Jews and Middle Eastern women.
