She began acting in the earl 2000s, and had appeared in many TV shows or films. Her best known roles have been from the film ''Film/{{Crash}}'' and the ''Franchise/{{Saw}}'' films. He has become an advocate for other disabled athletes. Her sister Saba is a professor of theological studies at UC Berkeley, concentrating on Persian Jews and Middle Eastern women.
