Acachalla family
Papa Acachalla
Actor(s): Jordan Frye
A balding, fat old man who is one of the most known Venturiantale characters, he owns a seven eleven and is occasionally the Only Sane Man.
- Abusive Parents: Somewhat towards Billy and Sally, while he isn't physically abusive and does seem to care for them most of the time he is annoyed by them and won't hesitate to kill them, though they always come back from the dead.
- Ascended Extra: He started out as a random character in the Sbikes video, now he's one of Venturian Tale's most popular characters.
- Action Hero: He generally solves his problems with violence, though he still has his moments where he tries to solve them without using his weapons.
- Back from the Dead: Like most Venturiantale characters, this trope actually had a song based on it.
- Luke, You Are My Father: When he found out The Toilet Toucher was Billy from the future it could be seen as this.
- Only Sane Man: On and off, he usually is surprised when seeing random and crazy things happening but many times embraces it or just ignores it.
- Small Name, Big Ego: He definitely has a massive ego.
Billy Acachalla
Actor(s): Isaac Frye
The son of Papa Acachalla (with whom he is usually seen), he is dimwitted and childlike.
- Ascended Extra: Like Papa Acachalla and most other characters.
- Bad "Bad Acting": If it even counts as acting.
- Best Friends-in-Law: Seeing as it doesn't appear he is Papa Acachalla's biological son. This seems to come into play.
- Fan-Preferred Couple: With Maddie friend. Which is odd as Billy does NOT recuperate her advances and has never showed any sign of that changing.
- Future Me Scares Me: He becomes The Toilet Toucher in the future.
Sally Acachalla
Actor(s): Sierra Frye
Billy's sister, perhaps even more stupid than him. She's obsessed with waffles.
- Action Girl: Not an often used trope but she can hold her own and managed to get a pet DINOSAUR. She also dates the Slender Man.
- Ascended Extra: At first just a character who appeared in one video without any relation to Papa Acachalla. Then she reappeared (again, with no relation to Papa Acachalla) and eventually was integrated into the Acachalla family.
- Badass Adorable: She owns a pet dinosaur, dates the Slender Man, and is willing to kill for waffles. But acts like an adorable little girl most of the time.
- Evil Is Petty: She somehow holds control over an entire dimension (or her own dream realm) and has her own robot army hunting down the last of the human race because they don't like waffles.
Gertrude Acachalla
Actor(s): Bethany Frye
The wife of Papa Acachalla, she is usually one of the only sane characters but still engages in crazy and insane activities too.
- Action Girl: She wields a crowbar, and has fought her own share of battles.
- Last of His Kind: In one video it's stated she's from a planet that was doomed after someone created a black hole device that destroyed it. Though other videos suggest she's part of a race that's still active.
- Modest Royalty: She's apparently the queen of the fifth dimension. She doesn't make a big deal about it.
Maddie friend
Actor(s): Bethany Frye
A stalker who wants Billy to sign her shirt and love her, she's also stated to be Gertrude's sister.
- Action Girl: She is perfectly willing to fight and can hold her own.
- Ascended Extra: She appeared in one video as a friend of Billy, then became a stalker and popular antagonist.
- Big Bad: in any video where Billy is the main character, she will most likely be this.
- Catchphrase: "SIGN MY SHIRT!"
- Stalker Witha Crush: Towards Billy, she has absolutely no problems with chasing him and spying on him.
- Villainous Crush: Again, towards Billy, which leads into...
- Villainous Incest: She's Gertrude's sister, making her Billy's aunt. Though this can be downplayed and less Squicky when you remember that Billy is supposed to be adopted.
Sucky officer/Sue
Actor(s): Isaac Frye
An officer who came to kill Prince Fang and failed, s/he later got adopted into the family.
- Action Hero: Tries to be this, they fail miserably.
- Ambiguous Gender Identity: After their adoption they were apparently accidentally marked down as a girl, and acted much more feminine after this revelation.
Sally Betty Jessica
Actor(s): Jordan Frye
Papa Acachalla's ex-wife, she looks identical to him.
- Ambiguous Gender: She looks exactly Papa Acachalla, but refers to herself as "all woman".
- Ascended Extra: Just a throwaway character at first, but she appeared a few times after her first appearance.
Maxwell Acachalla
Actor(s): Isaac Frye
A bandit and the brother of Papa Acachalla, he died in a stickup with his brother and became a ghost out for revenge.
- Big Bad Wannabe: He tried to be an actual threat, but most of the time the only things he does are trying to get revenge on papa Acachalla. Which isn't very large on the villainous scale.
- Revenge Before Reason: The only thing he wants is to kill Papa Acachalla, and takes no other options.
- Would Hurt a Child: Perfectly willing to kill Papa Acachalla as a baby.
- Demonic Possession: He can easily poses objects, though this trope is never used on people except for the time where he showed up as an old medic, though it's only implied.
Jeremy Acachalla

A shadow being that is supposed to be Papa Acachalla's brother, we learn almost nothing else about him.
- Always Chaotic Evil: He never does anything but attack people, that's it.
- Always a Bigger Fish: Billy and Sally summon two "minichallas" that manage to kill him.
- Generic Doomsday Villain: He;s just a shadow monster that attacks Billy and Sally, we don't know anything else except he's meant to be Papa Acachalla's brother.
- Humanoid Abomination: He's a shadow monster, but he does appear to have a fully human shape.
- Knight of Cerebus: He's one of the few characters played completely seriously, most likely because he has no actor.
- Omnicidal Maniac: He attacks everything around him with the intent to kill.

Paranormal Investigators Extraordinaire
Johnny Ghost

"I am Johnny Ghost! Paranormal Investigator Extraordinaire!"
Johnny Ghost is an American paranormal investigator and the co-creator of the Paranormal Investigators Extraordinaire (or P.I.E., for short) with his lifelong friend (and company owner) Johnny Toast. He is the true personality of Jimmy Casket.
- Ascended Extra: He was just a random ghost hunting character who DIED in his first appearance, then he appeared a few more times and became a main character.
- Characterization Marches On: At first a just a random ghost hunting character. Now he has an entire backstory that we are still getting parts of, involving a Serial Killer Split Personality and an omnipotent cardboard box demon.
- Enemy Within: He has a Split Personality named Jimmy casket, who appears to be a paranormal entity all on his own
- Vitriolic Best Buds: With Johnny Toast, while Toast generally refers to him as 'Sir' and Ghost gives orders, they still bicker many times.
- Ghost Hunter: He's a member and owner of PIE, which stands for Paranormal Investigators Extraordinaire. It should be obvious because of his name as well.
- Paranormal Investigation: Seeing as he owns a group called Paranormal Investigators Extraordinaire...
Johnny Toast

Jonathan "Johnny" Maxwell Bartholomew Toast Junior is a British paranormal investigator and the co-founder and current leader of Johnny Ghost's Paranormal Investigators Extraordinaire and a recruit of P.I.G - Paranormal Investigators Gourmet.
- Accidental Misnaming: Believe it or not this is the origins of his name, Cierra at first called him Johnny Roast but later said Toast on accident.
- Color-Coded for Your Convenience: Johnny is usually associated with blue, while his evil twin Gavin is associated with green.
- G-Rated Drug: Macaroni, which he sells and "does". Ghost does not approve of it.
- The Lost Lenore: Accidentally killed his wife. Exaggerated in that we don't know who she is, or even her name (fanon has given her name Mary), and she was only brought up for one episode. Toast doesn't even seem broken up over her death, considering it was his fault she died.
- Servile Snarker: How servile he is can be debated, but he does refer to Ghost as sir and can be quite snarky when the time comes for it.
- Sanity Slippage: Implied, it's stated he was in an insane asylum during a Story Arc where Johnny Ascended to a Higher Plane of Existence for a while and was floating around in space while his mind traveled to different dimensions. Though this is only brought up once.
Fred Spooker

A temporary replacement for Johnny Toast while he was in prison, he later becomes a puppy monkey baby.
- Ascended Extra: A temporary replacement at first, now he's a semi regular character.
- Humanoid Abomination: As a puppy monkey baby he is semi-humanoid.
- I Just Want to Be Normal: Inverted, while you may think he would want to be normal after being turned into a puppy monkey baby he barely acknowledges it and GHOST wants him to be normal.
- Was Once a Man: He used to be human, then he got turned into a puppy monkey baby.
- The Friend Nobody Likes: To PIE, especially Ghost.
Chris 'Colon' Ghostie

Chris 'Colon' Ghostie is a former Uber driver/NBA player from the Netherlands and now a member of PIE.
Jimmy Casket

"You wanna know my secret?"
Jimmy Casket is the tertiary antagonist of Venturian Tale. He is a psychopathic and murderous entity capable of possessing people, and most commonly takes possession of Johnny Ghost.
- Jekyll & Hyde: Shares the same body as Johnny Ghost, he tends to use his time with murder and terror. Either this or demonic possession at play.
